This past year has definitely been the most wonderful year of my life. Lyla has brought so much joy and love for both Troy and I. She is just the sweetest thing there is! (most of the time :)) We are just so happy to have this little girl in our life and that we get to raise her! I am sooooo lucky to be her mom!!!
She loves to eat and her favorites are, green beans, grapes, noodles, tomatoes, turkey, avacodo. Basically anything we give her and most of it is pretty healthy which we like!

Here are some things about Lyla:
She is the most friendliest kid there is, she will go to anyone and anyone who comes over she just wants to be by them and crawls all over them. She is definitely not shy at all and just loves everyone.
She loves to eat and her favorites are, green beans, grapes, noodles, tomatoes, turkey, avacodo. Basically anything we give her and most of it is pretty healthy which we like!
loves her binky's, we put 6 in her crib because she likes to have one in her mouth and the others she likes to rub in her hands. She now has discovered her stuffed animals that she calls "baby" and she now likes to sleep with one of them.
When we come in to get her from sleeping and turn the light on she quickley gathers all her binkies and tries to hold all of them in her hands before she'll let us get her out of her crib.
Lyla really loves to talk. She only babbles but she really believes she is speaking to us and even nods her head and looks us in the eyes while babbling to us.
She is not afraid of the dark.
She really loves to open and close doors. She'll just sit next to a door and open it up then close it over and over. She ends up getting herself stuck in rooms though unable to open the door after it completely shuts.
She is the most ACTIVE baby ever. She has so much energy and gets into everything. She loves to get into things which she knows she is not supposed to (i.e. the toilet) and will run from us if we catch her getting in trouble.
Lyla loves to climb on and into things. Her very long legs really help her to get on top of most everything. She likes to climb up onto something and then get right back down just to do it all over again.
She plays well with other kids and really gets excited to see other kids playing.
She really likes to read books. She'll babble the whole time we show her the pages of the book, we like to think she is telling us what is going on with the pictures.
She is still not quite sleeping through the night. I think it is because she doesn't have much time between something happening to her such as being sick, getting ear infections, or something else. She has slept through the night but it doesn't happen as much as we'd like.
She still takes two naps during the day
Lyla is a very very happy little girl. She is always smiling and showing off her big front teeth.
Lyla is starting to learn words and is very smart in grasping their meanings. She loves to say "hi" and "bye" to people and even knows when it is appropriate to say each one. She always says bye to Troy each day when he leaves for school. She also likes to say "ball" when she plays with a ball and says "doggie" when we bark like a dog to her. She says "baba", baby, daddy, and ow.
