Month of October

We had alot going on in the month of October! the picture below was on october 5th we had a girls night at my house of all the wives of midwestern students. We have a "support group" facebook page and we have all met through that. These girls are awesome, we are going to try and do this once a month. We had so much fun getting to know everyone. We also had yummy desserts/appitizers. Cant wait for the next one On oct 7th me and lyla flew to cali to spend a week out there. My sis carolee who lives in Pennsylvania was going to live with my mom for a couple months while her husband had some rotations for residency. So i went out there to spend time with her and also i did alot of hair of course

this picture is Lyla and her friend Ava. We went to Disneyland with one of my best friends that i've known since 5th grade. We seriously had the best time ever!! I think i laughed non stop the entire time. Thats what you get when you hang out with carissa!

In the picture above you can kind of see lyla's first black eye....she ran into the corner of my sisters bed. I was also able to go to niece Kate's babtism. I was so glad i could be there for that!









Here we went to the pumpkin patch, they had a little petting zoo and a train ride.

on october 28th we went to the state fair with our good friends Julie and Tyson and their little boy owen. We had alot of fun and saw alot of fancy people there!

Here is Lyla in her Chicken costume and as you can tell she was sooooo excited to put it on! and to carry her bucket around. Oct 29th Troys school had a trunk or treat at the school and they had fun activites and the kids went around to different office's to get candy

That night we had our ward trunk or treat and the picture below is lyla walking across the stage doing a costume parade for everyone. we had to leave right after this and not do the trunk or treat because it was already almost 8pm and they hadnt even started the trunk or treat!!! are you kidding me? i was annoyed but she looked so cute!

A group of us decided to have a little halloween party/dinner. We had sooo much fun and i wish i had a real group shot of us! we had homemade soups, roles, corn bread and dinner in a pumpkin and also some really yummy desserts.

This picture is not him blowing snot. Our friends jenny and skyler were in charge of games (they did and awesome job by the way) and we played "min. to win it" it was a bunch of games we had to do in a min and this one was Tyson had to get so many cottons balls on a plate putting vasaline on his nose and getting the cotton balls to stick on it and then blow it off on the plate

after all the games we had a little dance party, we turned off the lights and played some music and got "down" haha. we had so much fun!!!!! I think we'll make this a tradition
