Is she really 18 months old???

I cant believe I have an 18th month old who now is in nursery! Time has gone by way too fast. She did great in nursery, didnt cry once and just likes to play and eat her snacks. Im really excited that I me and troy dont have to chase her in the halls every sunday and I'm especially happy I dont have to chase her in my heels anymore. But I have to admit I really hope she doesnt come home sick every week cause you know most parents dont care to leave their kids home when they are sick! But all in all I'm excited for her to learn more about Jesus and to have fun with other kids while me and Troy can enjoy our classes :)

This picture is right before Lyla and her friend Jolie were going to nursery. They are only 3 days apart. And Jolie's mom is my really good friend Katie :) Some fun things about Lyla
She loves to put this steaming basket for rice over her head
She loves to eat her fruits, veggies, mac and cheese, turkey, rice and whatever we put on her plate. But she especially loves candy. I hardly give it to her but Im telling you she can spot it like she has an eagle eye and she will whine and scream until she has a little piece, so i've been good to keep that all hidden.
She is still obsessed with her binky's, she will run in her room and find them somehow, even if I thought I have put them all away she seems to find more in random places. I always keep like 10 in her bed for her to go to sleep, that way whatever position she is in there is always one handy.
Speaking of sleep she STILL doesnt sleep through the night. Let me tell you that has been the hardest thing of my life and yes i've tried to let her cry it out but boy she is one stubborn girl and she eneded up climbing out of her crib and landing on her back. So sad! She has slept through the night before so I know she can do it. Im always so hopeful everynight!
She is the most animated little girl I've ever met. Her facial expressions or the funniest thing, she can never hide what she is thinking of feeling.
She can do a really good impression of cookie monster. She does the growly voice while she says cookie cookie
Lyla is such a smart little girl, she learns things very fast!
If you ask her how old she is she says "one" while holding her finger up
Likes to be read to
When I ask her to sing she sways back and forth saying "la la la"
She loves songs, and loves to been sung too, When she hears music she says "song"
This girl can climb ANYTHING. She is totally fearless! she climbs all the stuff at the park which is for the older kids. She scares me all the time!
She loves people
One day we decided to count with her so we started to say "one, two, three" and then she blurts out "four, five"! Me and Troy were shocked because we have never taught her that!
She knows and says alot of words
She has full on conversation speaking her own language (with a few real words in there) she even looks at you in the eyes like she is telling you this whole long story.
She likes to eat an apple whole and she will eat it to the core.

You cant ever give her just one cookie you have to give her a whole handful which she will put all in her mouth at the same time

she loves to put stuff over her head and start to run, yes she has ran into the wall a couple of times

I've painted her toenails a lot before but this was the first time I painted her fingernails and she did a great job holding still.

I hate to admit this but she loves watching her shows. She loves the channel sprout, sing along videos and yo gabba gabba and seasme street. She also will climb up on our bed and say "show", she likes watching it on our bed.
She definitely knows what she wants and when she wants it. She will throw some serious tantrums
I can never take her to the store because she climbs out and just wants to stand in the cart even if i buckle her in she manages to squeeze out! and let me tell you that is very frustrating
She for the most part is a VERY happy little girl. She loves to hug and kiss you and is just soooo sweet. Me and Troy just think she is the cutest thing ever and love to see her learn new things everyday and I just truly love being her mom. Every night I still love to go in her room while she is sleeping and just stare at her for a little bit. I just LOVE this little girl and I'm so glad that she is mine :)

She is so pretty and this is a fun yet exasperating and BUSY age! Max and Kate do several of the same things; love their shows, Max loves to put things on his head too and walk around and they can be stubborn! I hope my kids do just as well with nursery, it is right during their nap so I am doubtful...

so lucky that lyla loves nursery! it took eden months before she wouldn't freak out when we left. our nursery puts a sign on the door saying not to leave your sick kids and if they notice they are sick they take them back to their parents! eden hasn't brought anything home so far! good luck and can't wait to see you and your cutie again!
