cant sleep!
I seriously cant sleep anymore, unless i take tylonal pm but i dont want to take that every single night! I think right now im more anxious than most nights. Today i went to my dr. appt and they checked my blood pressure and it was something like 150 something over 90 then as my dr. was checking me i didnt progress :( and then he tells me that hes estimating that the baby weighs 8.5 pounds! what in the world where did that come from me and troy both weren't big babies?? Then we ask him if he can strip my membrane, well let me tell you that freakin hurts and as hes grunting trying to get his whole arm up there and seriously pushing me off the table he stops because im still too small to do anything. Oh and when his hand came out it was all bloody (dont mind me telling the details). I take a blood test and pee in a cup and im just waiting for my results to tell me if i have preclampsia so i think thats why i cant sleep! The dr. did tell me too that i for sure wont be going to my due date that he will be checking when there is an opening to get me induced. Im so sad about not going on my own cause i know there is a higher rate of having a c-section if you do that. So im a little stressed and sad and hopeful that my baby ISNT 8.5 pounds!

I feel your pain. I had a 9lb and a 10lb baby. I've always been induced, and never had a c-section, although I've come close. Go do a lot of walking, and have a lot of sex, and maybe that will get your body ready to have this baby.
Good luck.
I'm so sorry that you haven't been able to sleep lately! I go in and out of sleep all night long and that has nothing to do with having to pee two times a night! The stuff we have to go through... Hang in there, you're almost there!! I can't wait to see baby Lyla!
She will be worth it!
We had that stripping of the membranes conversation! I thought you said you were afraid to do it! I guess when it comes right down to it, you'll just about anything, huh? Especially when you're sleep deprived. Also, I had a dream about you after you did Stella's hair last week. I think it's because I demanded to be on your "call list" when you have Lyla. You had your baby and didn't tell me and I made you feel horrible for not telling me. Feel free to tell me when your baby comes whether it's the day of or later, I promise I won't make you feel bad. Good luck! :)
I hope that everything works out for you! They told me that Brooklyn was measuring 9 pounds and it freaked me out...she ended up weighing 8. My water broke on it's own and I never dilated passed a 4 so I ended up with a c section. No matter how she gets here you won't care because you will be so happy to have her in your arms:) GOOD LUCK!
Candice... I am so sorry. Everything will turn out great. Just remember.... epidural!
Just like many other have said, the u/s usually aren't that accurate and from what I've heard most babies are like a pound less than they predicted.
I'm impressed that you are looking at the pros and cons of being induced. Most women just see it as a way of getting their baby quicker and they don't see that it does double your chance of getting a c/s if you're a first time mom. Good for you for staying informed. I know it's probably a lot to deal with right now.
I hope everything goes well when the time comes:)
Hey! I'm sorry you can't sleep...but maybe an 8.5 lbs baby would be awesome if you could imagine that I was 10 lbs. 2 oz! :) my poor mom! you'll do great!
