Christmas and California

Before we headed to cali we had our own little christmas.

Here is Lyla waiting to see her presents, a family tradition to count to ten

 she got hello kitty rain boots, dinosaurs, a big lion, a kaboodle with makeup in it.
We then had our yummy big breakfast and enjoyed our day together

 this picture was when we were setting up the tree, such a fun night

 Here we are in cali, and my parents bought Lyla a bike and this was going to be her only present on actual Christmas day but of course Lyla found the bike in my parents closet. I came home and saw her riding it in the house. There goes her christmas present. She loved it!

We had such a great time in California and I was so suprised how well Jackson did on the ride there and back. We always have so much fun with our family and to have Lyla play with all her cousins, she was in heaven.

4 months

This little guy is the happiest boy, he will smile at anyone! He squeals and is happy all the time. He is SUPER wiggley and it doesnt stop him from wiggling even when nursing which can be very hard. I like when he is sleepy thats the time I enjoy nursing him because he is calm and likes to rub the outside of his hand on my chest or sticks his pinky up.
He is rolling over and is all over the place when we put him on the ground.
He drools a ton!

Lyla is a great help, she will get on the floor with him and play with him when I need her to

while feeding him his bottle he runs his hand through his hair
He sleeps great during the day most of the time but of course when it comes to going to bed for the night it takes hours for me to get him to sleep. Well he actually is a sleep, it just takes so long for me to be able to put him in his bed without him waking up. Once he wakes up again he of course comes in bed with me again because Im too tired to do that whole process again.
He really is such a good sweet little boy and I just love the way he looks at me. I love him sooo much!

3 months

 

He is such a happy baby and very patient when it comes to waiting for a feeding. He is a smiley happy little boy and still loves his mama. Im not pumping as much only 1-3 times a day which is nice. He sleeps like a champ during the day in his swing, he puts himself to sleep in and typically his morning nap is 3 hours 2nd nap 2 and the 3rd about 40 min. He still is not a good sleeper at night and I sleep with him all night :( its cute for about 10 min. He loves his tongue and is starting to suck and chew his hands.

2 months

Im so sad that I didnt write down stuff to remember him at 2 months and all the little things about him at 2 months but I'll try and remember

by 2 months his colic had started to subside and he was alot happier. I was still nursing and pumping and bottle feeding. He is starting to smile alot and be a little more active. Lyla is a good little helper with him and he is really starting to recognize her and smile when she comes around. He is a big mama's boy and I swear everytime I would leave to go workout he would just cry and cry. He wasnt a big fan of Troys and really only wanted me. Everytime I would sneak out to go to the store or workout, it never failed that he would wake up from his nap no matter how long he had been sleeping he would wake up when I left, its like he knew it was so weird! His sleeping is still not good and he always ends up in bed with me the enire night till morning. He really is such a sweet baby, we love him.

November happenings...

 

For some reason the blog uploaded the pictures out of order so bare with me.

I guess I'll start with the end of November. Troy blessed Jackson with the most beautiful blessing and my parents were able to come to be a part of it. We blessed him on Nov. 18th. We had everyone over afterwards for some dinner and had a fun time visiting.

 now on to the not so fun thing that happened in november. Lyla was over at her friends house across the street and I hear a knock at the door with Lyla and the friends mom. She pointed out her daughter had CUT Lyla's hair. I just had my mouth open and kept saying "oh my gosh" The mom felt so bad and kept saying sorry. I just said I have to shut the door now and I just bawled my eyes out! I cut her hair and made it alot better but of course was and still so sad about it. I think she looks like a 40 yr old with her new cut. (when its not done)

I didnt get any pictures of Thanksgiving but we spent it with the Palmers this year and had a great time.
