One month

Im mad at myself that I am writing about him being one month old when he is 4 months now. I have forgotten so much. He was such a good baby for a few weeks then something happened where he would cry probably 80% of the time while he was awake and it always took us bouncing him forever to get him to sleep. Then also at the time I was bottle feeding, breast feeding, and pumping about 4-7 times a day. On a side note, I dont produce enough milk so I have to supplement. I wasnt able to nurse Lyla because she didnt want the boob and then got used to the bottle. I was determined then to be able to at least breast feed as much as I could. I worked soooo hard and in the beginning I dont think I've experienced worse pain on my cracked, and bleeding nipples! I kept going onthough and I kept pumping to help me produce more or at least sustain the little bit I had. I have been able to keep breast feeding til this day and Im so proud of myself for sticking to it even though he doesnt get very much.
For a while he was getting 50% bottle and 50% breast milk, but now I think he gets a little less since he is needing more. It was such a challenge for about 2 weeks and at the same time Lyla was super super hard!!! all while I was trying to nurse, bottle feed, then pump! It takes forever to pump and I swear everytime I needed to he would start to cry. During the night he was getting up every couple of hours! Even though he was a challenge for a while he sure is soooo cute and Lyla has been sooo good to him from the very start.

3/2/13 just remembered he would snort all the time whenever he would cry it was the cutest thing ever, also he could make the best pout lip when he was sad
