Easter 09

For Easter I went to Cali, Troy wasnt able to come because he had to study for the Mcat. It was the first time in a long time that all the siblings were together which was fun. We went to my sis. Kristens house and we had a yummy yummy dinner and a fun easter egg hunt. The egg hunt consisted of money in some of the eggs! I forgot but i think i got 35 bucks or something. It was so much fun to be with family but sad Troy couldnt be there with me. Me and my Dad

My cousins from az (which i drove down with them) came to cali and we had such a fun time with both the families. All us girls went to LA to shop!

So everyone has been asking for prego pics and i have some but they are all on my camera and we forgot to bring our cord with us to transfer them on the computer. Thats why i havent been blogging at all because im waiting to get home so you can see all my fun pics! So anyway theres my reason. So 2 more weeks and i'll be in the hot heat booooooo!!!!!!

Long overdue....

So lots been going on around here. Troy and I are here in cali, we've been here for a few weeks now. We came out here for troy to work for our bro in law. We were hoping it would last the whole summer but i think he only has 1 more week left.  We are going to try and find something else for him to do for work but we dont know what! I've been doing hair 2 days a week here at my moms. Can i just say even tho i get a bit bored i love not having a full time job!!! I just feel like a little housewife! I would work more but troy is a bit concerned for me, which i think is cute, he doesnt like me working too much since im prego haha. I have to admit it is getting a little harder to do hair the bigger i get! Oh and i have to say i love love love being here in cali, the weather here is so amazing! I seriously never want to go back to az, or at least while its summer. I can actually wear clothes and not be miserable. I do wish i were in az just so i can get our house ready and get the nursery ready but other than that i really just want to stay here until i have the baby. Another thing thats happening is right now troy is filling out applications for medical school, there are so many things you need to do for that! Also Troy got a 30 on his Mcat which is awesome!!! we were so excited about that. Troy will be turning in his application in a couple weeks and thats when all of it starts! Anyway thats whats been going on. I still have to post pics all the way back to easter, i'll try and do that soon. Oh also im 28 weeks today, in my 3rd trimester yay!!!

I havent posted in a while and i have tons of  pics to post but dont feel like doing that right now. I went to my doc appt yesterday and im a few days away from being 6 months!! can you believe that! Even though i feel so fat and not cute i was pretty excited that i've only gained 12 pounds so far, hopefully i wont gain a ton in the last few months! I have to give a shout out to my hubby who while im sitting here not feeling good hes grocery shopping and when i came home today from nannying he was picking up the house. He really has been so good to me and i appreciate it soooo much!!! I dont know what i would do without him.

Here is the ultrasound where Troy and I found out that we are having a baby GIRL!!! We are planning on naming her Lyla Jayne Palmer.  Sorry this is such a long video, we wanted to get everything

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ME....

For my 23rd Birthday Troy planned for us to go to California for the weekend. On Friday night we went to a yummy italian place called Roman Cucina. A few friends and my family came. It was so fun to get together with all of them and I also got some cute b-day gifts!!!

Then on sat. Troy and I went to disneyland. You get in for free on your bday. It was a little crowded and since I'm prego we couldn't go on the big rides but it was actually still really fun riding the kiddie rides. We just had so much fun having it be the 2 of us! Then on sunday my mom made me a yummy tri-tip steak dinner! It was serioulsy the best birthday weekend ever. 

Troy bought me 2 really cute shirts from forever 21for my bday and he kept in mind that I'll be growing bigger. He did such a good job i love the shirts and he also got me some earings.

are you dumb?

so someone already asked me...." are you sure theres not 2 babies in there?". Who asks that? by the way i was only like 12 weeks. So obviously it wasnt the baby making me look so big it was my chub! I've also been asked if im pregnant TWICE before i was even pregnant. People need to learn not to ask dumb questions! geez. Oh by the way im dying to know what im having i've seriously been looking for ultra sound places for cheap cause i dont want to wait 4 weeks i want to know NOW. So if you know of any places let me know.

Valentines Day!!!!

This Valentines Day was Troy's turn to plan everything, we switch off every year. And let me tell you he really did such an awesome job! In the morning he surprised me and took me to get a manicure and pedicure. He already had made the appt. before hand. After that we just hung out and took a nap. Later in the evening he made me a bubble bath and even bought the stuff for it and had candles and everything. So while i was taking my nice bath and getting ready he was preparing dinner. I wasnt allowed to come out till he was done. This is was i came out to. Isn't that so romantic. He made such a yummy dinner. A pasta dish, roles, and salad with sparkling cider. I just had to take a picture of it. As we were eating he gave me such a sweet card it made me tear up a bit. Then he handed over the movie Mamma Mia and told me he tried to find a chick flick that he would never want to watch otherwise. I thought that was so sweet. But I felt bad cause it was the lamest movie ever!!! Then after dinner we went and had some ice cream at cold stone. Seriously this was the best Valentines ever, he really put so much time and thought into it and I just love Troy so much! He truly is the best husband ever!

Day Date

Me and Troy were able to go to the Chocolate Affair in Glendale a couple weeks ago. There was a park full of tents with people selling chocolate, candy, food, jewelry, paintings etc. We had some Chocolate covered strawberries and a root beer float. Then we had fun walking around to all the fun antique shops that were there, there was tons of them. It was fun getting to spend the whole day with Troy!

This video here is so random but hilarious. Troy decided to roll himself into the comforter and wiggle like a worm. I thought it was pretty funny i even snorted as you can hear!

Long over due

So this post is so long over due. Its Christmas break. We spent a week in cali (it was my family's turn to have us for Christmas!) Also the pictures are so out of order so if you want you can start at the bottom. Since the post is so long and I honestly can't remember all what we did during the break since it was so long ago i'll just explain each picture.

Ok So these few pictures are of me and Troy doing our tradition. We have a night that we spend together sometime before Christmas. We make a really nice dinner that we've never made before and cook it together. Then we open our christmas presents from each other. I got Troy 2 sweaters and a movie and he got me a beautiful necklace that i had picked out!

After that we watch a Christmas movie. We always have such a fun together we look forward to this night every year.

Heres the yummy food! we made a pasta dish with cheese fondue with veggies and bread to dip and some salad.

Another night we went with my cousin Cara and Evan and with Danica, Brennen and Trevor to the temple lights. Then afterwards we went to cara's house and has some hot cocoa.

So embarassing......

So today i went to wal mart and the first thing i did was go to the bathroom, then i was on my way to grocery shop. Well i came home and felt on my butt toilet paper hanging from my pants!!!!! When i went pee i laid toilet paper down and i guess when i pulled my pants up it got caught so some of it was hanging out of my pants! can you believe that the whole time i was walking around like that, and no one said anything!!!!! im so embarassed!!!

Dedicated to Troy...

Troy is truely the best husband! why you ask? well lately i've had a couple cravings :) so Troy has made a few trips to the store for me to get me some pickles, then another occasion i told him i was wanting some ice cream and he suprised me with some and now tonight i was talking on the phone with him saying how bad i wanted now and laters (my fav. candy). He was taking longer than expected because he was just coming home from school and so i called him and he said he was at the store looking for my candy and they didnt have any so he went to another store to find them. Seriously is he the best or what?! I am so lucky and i just love him so much!! I am so excited to start a family with him i just cant wait to see what a great father hes going to be!!! I am just so blessed i have him in my life!!!!!

Baby Palmer

I had my first dr. appt today and one of the videos shows the heart beat and the other the baby is moving. Its so cute!! it looks like a teddy bear, and whats crazy is it already has its hands and feet. The dr. blew up the baby so you can see it more but its only about an inch. Crazy huh? well enjoy the videos!

so for you people who have been asking im 6 1/2 weeks along and im due aug. 23rd. i guess i am a little embarassed that im telling people so soon but whatever im excited. When i was in cali my sis did an ultra sound on me and thats how i found out my due date and i also got to see the heartbeat, it was really cute. Anyway there you go. Oh and also sorry for telling everyone by blogging and facebook i know its so impersonal but theres just too many to tell so if i could i would call everyone individually.
